This clinic was designed with lot of conceptualization and compassion. The entrance to the clinic is through a narrow common passage. But the double height Reception creates a great first and lasting impression on the visitor. Waiting in clinic for your turn to come is the dreariest experience of one’s life. But at Aditya Care, due the natural environs in waiting area, the patients experience a very positive atmosphere.
The cabin for Dr. Abhijit Jadhav is made bright by using white & grey colour. The shape of doctor’s table is an abstraction of sugar molecule. Dr. Pradnya wanted a feminine touch to her cabin. It was achieved having by a Pista & White colour scheme. Her table symbolizes a baby in the womb.
Even the toilets were designed based on themes. A sea water effect achieved with help of hand painted tiles behind the W.C. signifies that all waste ultimately goes to sea. An exclusive look was given to Doctor’s toilet by using Embossed nickel coloured printing on wall tiles. The designed was custom made as per my conceptualization of a tree branch.
For this office we gave a modern look with abstraction of natural elements. The ceiling in the reception signifies rays of sun. This concept is derived from the name of the company. The reception table is highlighted by blue lighting, while the waiting has cosy yet open feel. You can see the similarity in our design of reception and the look after completion. This is our core strength. We deliver what we promise. The Staff area and Manager’s cabin have simplistic design. The Director’s cabin has a rich look by using rustic wooden theme used in it.

The bungalow is set in Vangaon, near Dahanu which despite being near to Mumbai is quiet having vast open spaces. It has tropical humid climate. The intent was to create a modern structure using traditional elements which would be sensitive to the climate, making a strong statement but having humane ambiance The living spaces are wrapped by semi-open spaces, like terraces, porches & verandahs, primarily on East & West. A subtle hierarchy of spaces is established. They create a buffer which protects it from harsh weather while maintaining visual link with the surroundings. The sloping overhang which runs all around prevents the rains and direct sun rays to reach the interior spaces. This facilitates to have abundant windows for natural light and ventilation. The terraces offer visual respite in the mass of the structure which has lofty internal spaces. Play of levels offers interesting vistas through the movement in space. Natural materials have been used abundantly. The colours used are very warm and earthly. The details are simple and functional. This creates a serene atmosphere that’s in contrast with the scale of the spaces and the structure.
